Classic Veggie Pita Pocket

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:

  • 2 pita breads
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup diced cucumbers
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp hummus

 

Method of Preparation:

  1. Warm the pita bread in a skillet or toaster for 1 minute.

  2. Slice open the pita to create a pocket.

  3. Spread hummus inside each pocket.

  4. Fill with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and feta cheese.

  5. Serve immediately.
